Ultimate

If you're lucky, and I mean really lucky, you get to spend the majority of your life with a good woman. Someone who's there with you schemeing, dreaming, plotting, and philosophizing- in short, a soul mate. Fortunately, I'm lucky and I've got such a person in my life. My Little E. She's a dream and a reality and the sounding board for all that I am. Plus, she recently got me a boat, which is why I am singing her praises that she would deserve in any event.

What would Ahab be without a boat? Well he sure wouldn't be Ahab....

My boat is a kayak. Called an Ultimate 12 and I think it suits me perfectly (which again reflects the incredible intuition Little E possesses). It is not really a true kayak as most people think; instead it is kind of a canoe meets kayak and the resulting spawn is a pure fishing and adventure machine kind of boat. That's me- sifting through the black and white lines and ending up in various shades of grey.

Me? I've got a thirteen pound bass.

Fishing. Hard to call it a past time. Hard to call it a passion, although it certainly is. However, with family, and work, and all the other threads of my life it sometimes gets lost in the overall pattern. But it is inherent to the escensce of who I am and what I dream about. I've been fishing as long as I've been doing anything, and although its relative heirarchy in my life has fluctuated, it's safe to say that I am and always will be "hooked."
